Shaping the Future of Healthcare at the HIMSS Executive Summit in Dubai

Dubai, a global hub of healthcare innovation, is set to host the HIMSS Executive Summit on 25th April, as an exclusive, in-person setting to gain local knowledge and exchange ideas with more than 200 healthcare leaders and executives, aiming to revolutionize the landscape of healthcare in the Middle East. 

Registration is currently open for the Executive Summit. This year’s agenda will include three deep dive topic areas: the future of generative AI in healthcare, genomics and precision medicine and the deployment of tools to accelerate digital maturity. 

The keynote address will feature Cris Ross, the chief information officer of the Mayo Clinic, who will delve into the key global trends in digital health. His insights are expected to shed light on the transformative potential of digital technologies in revolutionizing healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. 

Programming highlights three different deep dive sessions, each focusing on critical topics of healthcare innovation. The first session, moderated by Prof. Mahmood Adil, will explore the disruption of healthcare through generative AI. Panelists, including Marius Raileanu and Dr. Khulood Alsayegh, will discuss how generative AI is enabling healthcare in the region and the necessary steps to expedite its benefits. 

Other deep dive sessions will delve into AI’s role in genomics and precision medicine research, as well as the development and will explore the evolving tools that accelerate digital maturity, supporting leading providers and enhancing outcomes. 

Additional renowned speakers from the region will discuss their insights into digital health and share their experiences and insights on transformative healthcare topics such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, patient engagement and data security. 

The summit will conclude with a HIMSS Analytics Awards ceremony, celebrating the regional hospitals that reached Stage 6 and 7 on the EMRAM Maturity Model.
